Not overripe

Avocado slices should not be moist since they will be as crunchy as chips. Avocados that are near to ideal ripeness are preferable for this recipe to ensure that the fries are neither soft or overripe. A little complexity is OK, so create avocado fries with the avocados that are ripening on the counter!

Unlike conventional high-carb breadcrumbs, keto breadcrumbs never need three bowls. Skip the flour in the first bowl and go directly to the egg. Then, and most significantly, we have a crunch and salt coating made from almond flour and grated parmesan cheese, as well as whatever seasonings you want.

Not burned, but crunchy

As you can see in the video, all fryers take different amounts of time to cook. We know for a fact that this is true because we’ve had two quite distinct ones. Our first fryer, which we adored, ran on low heat, allowing us to cook everything fast. However, due to the size of the basket in our present fryer, it takes a bit longer to achieve the same frying temperature.

To do so, just follow the avocado fries’ preparation instructions. Unless you have an air fryer like ours, never set the temperature and time according to the directions and don’t leave before it’s done! You may wind up with avocado fries that are burned.

Fries with Avocado

Avocado fries are cooked in a hot air fryer after being covered in a combination of almond flour and parmesan cheese.

Instructions:

  • To begin, slice the avocado in half, leaving 4-5 thick slices each half (see video). Remove it from the equation.
  • Combine the almond flour, Parmesan cheese, and spices in a small basin.
  • Add the egg and water to a shallow bowl and whisk until the mixture turns frothy.
  • Dip the avocado carefully in the egg mixture, then in the flour and cheese mixture. Place on a platter and repeat with the remaining slices.
  • Preheat the fryer to 400°F for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Place the slices in a single layer in the frying basket and coat the prepared frying pan with coconut oil spray.
  • Cook for 4 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes on the other.
