There are few things in life that I would love to do more than try the keto diet. It’s a diet that claims to strip away all the junk foods we’ve (wrongly) been told to eat in order to get the body that we want. It’s a diet that says you can eat pizza every day, with cheese and bacon. You can eat bread and pasta, or you can eat a mountain of cheese.

I love the keto diet. It’s a low carb, high fat eating plan that has helped many people reach their weight loss goals. I have been on it for several years and the results have been amazing! I can eat whatever I want and I feel great. I have lost 60 pounds and I feel awesome.

It can be hard to stay motivated about the keto diet and sticking with it when you find it hard to keep a good meal plan. Michelle has battled with her weight her whole life, despite undergoing weight reduction surgery and engaging in rigorous exercise. In recent years, more health issues have surfaced.

Michelle got interested in keto after a lady at work refused to eat normal pizza for lunch and instead brought her own keto cuisine. Thankfully, she found Michel and the keto diet, and the rest, as they say, is history:

My whole life has been spent trying to lose weight. I’m 57 years old and have found it almost difficult to reduce weight in recent years. In 2001, I underwent gastric bypass surgery. Even though I was performing high-intensity aerobics four days a week, my lowest weight following surgery was 77kg, and I swear it barely lasted a week.

Since then, I’ve battled to maintain my weight loss, but my body really feels better at 91kg. I have back and knee issues at this weight. My blood sugar level began to increase, as well. However, another effort to reduce weight failed.

Someone brought their own lunch instead of our regular pizza lunch one day while I was leading a new class. My mouth was watering at the thought of his meal. After class, I inquired about her diet and how she became involved in athletics. She informed me and began offering me advise for the remainder of the week. It was April 12th, 2019.

The seventh is today. I’ve lost 41 pounds (19 kg) since November 2018. The weight started to drop after the first week on keto. I’m currently 78 kg, just 1 kg less than my lowest weight after surgery. I’m very proud of what I’ve accomplished. I’m in a great mood. I’m a big fan of the keto diet and the effects it produces.

I love the ketogenic diet. It is the only diet I’ve ever been able to maintain for the long term. Ever since I was 13 years old I’ve been in and out of the doctor’s office, having tests done, and told that I needed to lose weight. I tried many different types of diets in hopes to find one that would be easy to follow and maintain for the rest of my life. I even went on starvation diets that would last a few days or a week, but as soon as I started eating again I would gain all the weight back.
