Ever since the ketogenic diet skyrocketed in popularity, a question that keeps popping up is: “Can you make keto nachos?” Well, the short answer is, you can, but you will need to make some changes to the traditional recipe.
I’ve been on a low carb diet for a while, but I HATE giving up on nachos. I’ve tried making my own nachos to no avail. I decided to use a low carb tortilla and keto cheese. So far, so good. The nachos are super cheesy and so flavorful!

These simple keto nachos will upend your nacho game and satisfy all of your needs! Nachos are one of my all-time favorite foods. They’re ideal for a snack, a party appetizer, or a meal. To be honest, you can throw meat, cheese, and sour cream on anything and I’ll eat it, so this recipe may be made in a multitude of ways.
Appetizers with Low Carbohydrates
These keto nachos would be the show-stopper at any party, but don’t stop there. Serve these easy keto dips with extra tortilla chips, pork rinds, and veggies on a dish.
Everyone likes a nice dip, and they all reheat beautifully the next day, allowing you to keep them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week!
Are Nachos Carbohydrate-Dense?
These aren’t the ones! You may create traditional tortilla chips in the oven using low carb tortillas, or you can bring out your bag of pork rinds and use them as the bottom layer. You can’t go wrong either way.
What Chips Are Keto-Friendly?
Because I adore chips, this was one of the first questions I asked myself. And, to be honest, chip substitutes don’t quite measure up, but with time, my fondness for jalapeno kettle chips (my all-time favorite) waned, and I grew to appreciate all of the low-carb chip alternatives.

Is it possible to eat nachos while on a diet?
Normally, I would say they aren’t ideal because they are quite tasty and easy to devour in large quantities. These keto nachos, on the other hand, are the ideal meal – high in fat and protein while being low in carbs!
It’s all about the toppings because the base will be incredibly low carb no matter which way you play it, low carb tortillas, pork rinds, or bell pepper strips (as demonstrated in the video). Starting with 80/20 ground beef is a terrific approach to ensure you’re getting a good fat-to-protein ratio and a substantial dinner.
After that, I like to pile cheese, tomatoes, sour cream, and guacamole on top. There are very few carbs in this dish, and if you want to keep it even lower carb, you may skip any vegetables.

I have always been a fan of nachos. The combination of melted cheese, sour cream and guacamole is a world-class appetizer for any meal. But I am not a fan of the amount of carbs that go into most store-bought nachos. I like to make my own nachos and I have two favorites: the traditional beef and cheese nachos with sour cream, or the chicken nachos with guacamole..
